Sample Programs: Lead Generation

Here is a sample of a lead generation program we recently executed for an advertiser.

Campaign Goal:

Drive sales leads among Federal and State & Local IT Managers

Program Element 1: Government Voice Webcasts

Developed a ‘series’ of 3 webcasts spread across a 12 week time-frame with a ‘Cloud Computing’ theme.  Each webcast examined a particular angle on the technology – Security, Efficiency, How to buy.  These webcasts were developed in conjunction with the GCN editorial team and featured a government speaker for each session identified and secured by our team.

This turnkey program included GCN online and print advertising components which amplified the visibility of the program.

Program Element 2: Digital Dialogue Add-on component (print)

Once the last webcast in the series was completed, the advertiser sustained the awareness generated by the series of ‘Cloud Computing’ webcasts by choosing to run a 4-page print Digital Dialogue within the pages of GCN.  The print piece was written by a member of the GCN marketing services editorial team and featured the highlights of the webcast series.

Program Element 3: Partner Microsite (online only)

The advertiser also ran a customized microsite further pushing their lead generation efforts.  Offering their unique whitepapers and a case study as downloadable assets, they were able to identify the most qualified leads through repeated asset downloads.

By leveraging their own assets, they felt this turnkey program gave them a cost-effective advantage with regard to engaging and educating the Public Sector IT market.

Result:

  • 600+ government IT leads produced for total webcast series.
  • 7% sales conversion rate increase across prospects who attended more than one webcast in the series.
